Carolina Public Humanities’ Zietlow Civic Engagement Project helps North Carolinians understand and appreciate the importance of democracy, voting, and civic participation. This month, Aaron chats with three of the students whose work is being funded by the initiative.
Postdoctoral fellow Kylie Seltzer discusses the program and introduces undergraduates Sarah Soson and Sofia Nyiri, whose research explores the issues of “forever” chemicals (Soson) and abortion (Nyiri) and their impact on public participation.
