UNC’s latest football coach — the eight-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick — is set to be introduced in Chapel Hill on Thursday.

After the university’s Board of Trustees met Thursday morning to formally approve the contract and selection of the former New England Patriots head coach, Carolina Athletics announced an introductory press conference would be held at 2 p.m. While the event at Kenan Stadium’s Blue Zone is not open to the public, it will be available for fans to follow along on radio, TV and online.

Here’s what you need to know to check out Belichick’s opening moments as UNC football’s head coach:

Radio Broadcast

Those hoping to listen on the radio can do so at 97.9 FM and 1360 AM, or by streaming the radio broadcast on chapelboro.com.

97.9 The Hill’s radio broadcast of the press conference will begin at 2 p.m., pre-empting the station’s music programming. The broadcast will be carried until 3 p.m., when The Forum On The Hill will resume with its fourth day of panels.

Television

Television coverage of the introductory press conference will be through the ACC Network channel and ACC Network Extra. As of today, Spectrum, AT&T, Dish Network, Xfinity and DirecTV all carry ACC Network. ACC Network Extra can be streamed through the ESPN app or ESPN.com as well.

Online

Carolina Athletics will also livestream the event on its YouTube channel. Check it out using the link below as it happens at 2 p.m., as well as after the broadcast has ended.
