Originally, the game was scheduled for 6:30.
The Tar Heels are currently 17-2 overall and 6-0 in the ACC. The team has won 10 games in a row and could be the nation’s new No. 1 team with a victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies.
The current No. 1 team, Oklahoma, lost on Monday night to Iowa State.
Carolina defeated Wake Forest on Wednesday in the team’s most recent game. Brice Johnson led the way with 27 points and 11 rebounds.
Virginia Tech is 12-7 overall with a 4-2 record in the ACC.
