With college football season just over three months away, the game times for UNC’s first two contests of 2018 were released Friday.

The Tar Heels will travel to Berkeley on Sept. 1 for their season opener against California, which is set to get at 4 p.m. Following that game, UNC will come back across the country for a game against East Carolina in Greenville on Sept. 8 at 3:30 p.m.

UNC’s home opener against UCF on Sept. 15 was already scheduled for a noon kick time, while it was also previously announced that the Tar Heels’ Thursday night game against Miami on Sept. 27 is set to begin at 8 p.m.
