UNC senior forward Brice Johnson continues to rake in the awards as he nears the end of his career as a Tar Heel.

Johnson was named to the Associated Press All-American team on Tuesday afternoon.

Four seniors headline the team. Johnson is joined by Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield, Michigan State Denzel Valentine and Virginia’s Malcolm Brogdon. Kentucky sophomore Tyler Ulis is the only underclassmen on the team.

Valentine and Hield were unanimous selections to the team, receiving votes from all 65 voters. Ulis received 43 votes, followed by Johnson with 39 votes and 36 votes for Brogdon.

Johnson has set the record for double-doubles in a single season at UNC with 23 so far. Johnson averaged 16.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game this season.

The Tar Heels are heading to Houston to take on Syracuse in the Final Four on Saturday night.
