
The UNC football team will finish off its 2023 season in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in Charlotte on Wednesday. The Tar Heels will take on West Virginia out of the Big 12. Carolina hasn’t won a bowl game since the 2019 season.
If you aren’t making the trip to the Queen City for the game, here’s how you can follow along at home:
Broadcast Schedule
Those hoping to listen on the radio with Jones Angell on the call can do so at 97.9 FM and 1360 AM. Per the Duke’s Mayo Bowl broadcasting agreement with Learfield Sports, Chapelboro.com will NOT streaming the game’s broadcast online. The radio broadcast will, however, will be streamed on the Varsity Sports Network app and GoHeels.com.
97.9 The Hill’s radio coverage of the game will begin at 2:30 p.m. with Inside Carolina Live, which is the show’s final edition until the 2024 football season.
At 4:30 p.m., the broadcast will shift over to Jones Angell and the Tar Heel Sports Network for their pregame coverage until kickoff. They will also carry postgame coverage for approximately 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

TV Schedule
Television coverage of the game begins at 5:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN. As of today, Spectrum, AT&T, Dish Network, Xfinity and DirecTV all carry ESPN.
What if I don’t have cable?
A live stream will be available on ESPN’s digital platforms.
Additionally, several cord-cutting options carry ESPN.
YouTube TV prices at $73/month and carries the entire ESPN family of channels.
Hulu TV starts at $76/month and includes ESPN, but does not carry MLB Network, NBA TV or NFL Red Zone.
Sling TV costs $40/month for the Orange package. Be sure to avoid Sling Blue, as that package does not include ESPN.
