The Jordan Falcons utilized speedy open field running and a record setting Ben Miller at quarterback to dominate the Chapel Hill Tigers 51 – 19 on a beautiful night for football in Durham.  The Falcons opened the game with an option pitch to #22 Sincere Parker that yielded a 65 yard scoring run from the first play from scrimmage.  The Tigers answered the score with a quick 45 yard drive that was soon halted with a Falcon interception.  Four plays later the Falcons were in the end zone again with a 14 – 0 lead before 4 minutes were off the clock to begin the game.  Chapel Hill took the next drive into the end zone marching 68 yards in 7 plays.  Then a successful onside kick put the Tigers in business with a potential tying drive.  The drive stalled with a field goal attempt that was foiled when a bad snap caused a fourth down 10 yard loss.  The Falcons marched down the field on another scoring drive and never looked back the rest of the evening.

Falcon quarterback #12 Ben Miller set an all time Jordan High School career passing record this evening in the win.
