RALEIGH – The Orange Panthers boys’ basketball team takes its unblemished conference record on the road to Raleigh Friday night to take on their Big-Eight foe Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders.
At the mid-way point in the conference schedule Greg Motley’s Panthers have cruised to a 7-0 record–Orange snuck past rival Cedar Ridge Thursday night, 65-61. Marque Cunningham’s Crusaders sit fourth in the conference at 3-4.
Orange continues to average more than 70 points per game while Cardinal Gibbons is only averaging close to 54. The Panthers will once again look to push the pace to increase their chances for a win.
WCHL Championship Sports travels to Raleigh Friday for the broadcast of Orange and Cardinal Gibbons. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 with tipoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
