CHAPEL HILL – Two teams remain undefeated in the boys Big-8 3A conference, and they’ll go head-to-head Friday night.
The Chapel Hill Tigers have only played three home games in their first 13 contests, and host the Orange Panthers in the first of two meetings this year. The Tigers have faired well on the road with a 6-2 record on its opponents court and a 1-1 record on a neutral court. Chapel Hill is under the leadership of its new coach, Lason Perkins, who have led the Tigers to a 9-4, 4-0 record so far.
The Orange Panthers cap a busy week with Friday night’s game. Head coach Greg Motley and the Panthers will have played three games in four days after Friday’s contest.
WCHL Championship Sports returns to the air with the broadcast of Chapel Hill and Orange on 97.9 FM and chapelboro.com, Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m; tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
