AI is making a mockery of Bill Belichick’s prickly personality.
A video of Belichick in his office with Super Bowl Trophies in the background is either meant to make you laugh or have you come up with other reasons why UNC should not have hired him as its next head football coach.
You have to be amazed at what Artificial Intelligence can do these days. It is clearly a fake video of Belichick, a big headshot of him and his unmistakable voice spewing with some vulgarity everything from why he didn’t take several NFL jobs when they came open to who helped him decide on Carolina.
“Where would I ever wanted to go; think about why my options ‘freaking’ sucked,” he says.
It is not him, really, because the foul language used in what never would have been made or certainly not to be published in which he dumps on the school that just signed him to a $50 million contract over five years, three guaranteed.
It is another reason to wonder why BB’s buyout drops from $10 million to only $1 million after next June 1, 2025. You have likely heard theories on both sides of that. But Belichick’s meme will keep a dual telescope on his first Tar Heel team and signs of a return to the NFL.
Of going back to pro football, where he is 15 wins away from reaching Don Shula’s all-time coaching record. “Where in the “friggin” NFL would I want to go?” he says. “Consider for a second why my options sucked.
Belichick said “the Cowboys tried to seduce me but I can’t stand that micromanaging geezer owner Jerry Jones, or I would have considered the Eagles but they didn’t have the guts to fire that “bum play caller (and head coach) Nick Siriani,” the Bears are “a G-damn poverty case,” and the Indian-owned “Jaguars run the franchise like a “curry restaurant.”
“Don’t even get me started on the Jets. Everyone remembers back in 2000 when those bums appointed me their head coach. I quit on day one and ran to New England. Haha, I didn’t want the job then and I don’t want it now.”
“Anyway,” referring to himself in the third person, “Bill Belichick has already won more Super Bowls than any other coach.”
After some more AI-created nonsense, the pseudo Tar Heel coach said, “And the real truth is in my time off with my 24-year-old girlfriend I decided that I like college-age chicks so much that I’d want to be around them all day.”
And to imagine if he ever won a national championship with a “bum-ass basketball school like UNC, they would build a 50-foot tall ‘friggin’’ statue of me that even Tom Brady would be jealous of.”
He supposedly ends it with, “In any case, I’ll see you guys in Chapel Hill this fall.”
Hmmm. . . meme.
