UNC men’s basketball has moved up one spot in the Associated Press basketball rankings.

After a two win week, taking down Syracuse and Florida State, both on the road, UNC has moved back into the top five for the first time since December 7.

The Tar Heels are the highest ranked ACC team and are behind only Kansas, Oklahoma, Maryland and Michigan State.

They currently sit atop the ACC with a perfect 4-0 conference record, a half game ahead of Duke and Pittsburgh.

Six ACC teams are in the top 25. Miami and Duke are eighth and ninth respectively, Virginia is 13 and Pittsburgh and Louisville are 20 and 21.

This is the fourth consecutive week that the Tar Heels have moved up in the polls.

They look to push their seven game win streak to eight against NC State in Chapel Hill on Saturday.
