Welcome to “Thriving in Orange!” A monthly segment presented by Orange County Economic Development, “Thriving in Orange” features conversations with local business owners about what it’s like to live and work in Orange County, especially in light of the county’s small business grant program which launched in 2015 and has helped small businesses and small business owners with well over $100,000 in grants each year!

This month, 97.9 The Hill’s Aaron Keck has a conversation with Angela Hugghins — founder of Cult of Reason, a natural and inclusive line of skincare of personal health products promising “clean, simple, effective skincare” through an intentional (and ingredient-transparent) philosophy of “skin is skin.”

“I’ve been an aesthetician for 24 years and have worked on so many faces over those years,” said Hugghins. “I think it’s my hands-on experience that I bring to this line, seeing teen acne or perimenopausal skin changes, and I bring all that knowledge to this line of products. I like to call them ‘thoughtfully formulated products’ … I want really quality products that I know work, but are simple to understand.”
