Welcome to “Making a Splash” with Goldfish Swim School of Chapel Hill!

Every month on 97.9 The Hill, we are joined a member of the Goldfish team for a conversation about building confidence in kids, in and out of the pool. You can listen to this month’s full segment above as Andrew Stuckey was joined on air by Goldfish Swim School of Chapel Hill general manager Lola Agboola.

With February being the official month of love and friendship, there’s plenty of celebration happening over at Goldfish!

“We have a lot of initiatives, lots of activities, going on,” said Agboola. “… Every year for the past nine years, Goldfish Swim School has been sending a team of people out to help out in this community calls Gales Point in Belize. This year, we’ve got one of our owners, Manuel, and one of our managers, Kaitlin, going down. We teach kids about water safety, we teach them how to swim, and we just overall provide service, helping them build schools and helping out in the community.”

That service-based trip to Belize isn’t the only big thing happening at Goldfish, though! Donation collections for Book Harvest are taking place, some new friends are joining Bubbles — the Goldfish mascot — in the water, and there are still so many ways for kids and parents to get involved!
