Welcome to “Making a Splash” with Goldfish Swim School of Chapel Hill!

Every month on 97.9 The Hill, we are joined a member of the Goldfish team for a conversation about building confidence in kids, in and out of the pool. You can listen to this month’s full segment above as Andrew Stuckey was once again joined on air by Goldfish Swim School of Chapel Hill owner Danelle Alex!

The discussion begins with a back-to-basics discussion about swim lessons, how levels of instruction function to keep kids learning (and safe!) in the pool, and highlights of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum and facilities — including the famous heated pool, which makes year-round swim lessons possible!

“I think that it’s a norm for a lot of people to think is that there’s a season for swimming and there’s a season for not swimming, but we know that water safety is year round,” said Alex. “We have year-round swim lessons, and not only is water safety important year-round — but our ‘perpetual model,’ is what we call it — allows families flexibility to start and stop whenever they’d like, as well as to keep the learning progress going for swimmers.”

Also highlighted is Goldfish Swim School Chapel Hill’s recent winning of an award from the national organization backing Goldfish swim schools across the country! Out of 130 schools open nationwide, Goldfish Chapel Hill was chosen as a school exemplifying one of the core values of Goldfish: specifically, “integrity, compassion and trust.”

Listen above for more details on how Goldfish helps kids of all ages acquire a lifelong (and life-saving) skill, and tune in next month for more of the fun both in and outside the pool!
