This month, our Superstar is Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill — providing a welcoming and comforting space to help meet the needs of families who children are undergoing treatment at UNC Children’s Hospital, including a good night’s rest, hot meals, and support from a community who understands.

“We provide a clean, comfortable space for families that are going through some of the hardest times of their lives,” said Oie Osterkamp, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle. “A lot of these families have quit their jobs, have maybe sold their homes, have cashed in their retirement plans, have given everything they have to the hospital for the one chance their child might get better.”
