Welcome to Goldfish Swim School Chapel Hill’s Community Superstar of the Month! This month, our Superstar is the Compass Center! Join 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey in a conversation with Christian Adams, of the Compass Center, alongside Goldfish Swim School owner Danelle Alex and Goldfish community outreach manager Ali Valentine!
Born of two organizations, The Women’s Center and the Family Violence Prevention Center of Orange County — founded in 1979 and 200, respectively — the Compass Center in Chapel Hill provides assistance on the path to self-sufficiency, safety and health. Regardless of gender or economic status, the Compass Center offers career and financial education domestic violence crisis and prevention programs, assistance with legal resources, and youth health programs.
