Welcome to Goldfish Swim School Chapel Hill’s Community Superstar of the Month! This month, our Superstar is Book Harvest! Join 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey in a conversation with Alli Valentine and Jalisa (“Jay”) Harvey of Goldfish Swim School and Benay Hicks, director of external relations for Book Harvest, about providing books to the community, partnering with parents, producing real results for kids and a whole lot more!

Book Harvest provides not only books, but ongoing literacy support to families and their children from the earliest stages of childhood development. The organization is committed to ensuring children are “lifelong readers and learners,” and works toward “a world in which reading, learning, and access to information are considered rights, not privileges, so that all children thrive.”
