The Chatham Park Check-In continues with the next series of interviews, this edition again led by Preston Development Executive Vice President Vanessa Jenkins! Join in for a conversation with engineers Chuck Smith, Hunter Freeman, Jimmy Holland and Wesley Hutchins, all of them intricately involved in shaping and implementing Chatham Park’s foundation of conversation, sustainability and innovation through project-wide stormwater and water reclamation systems and a state-of-the-art water treatment plant.

They explain how the live-work-play-learn neighborhood has “Green Streets” that are owned by Chatham Park, not the county, and from where water run-off goes into roadside plantings and some of it into the water reclamation program at the water treatment plant for reuse. The team is proud of the ground-breaking conservation measures it has implemented in Chatham Park and how other developers from around the state are coming out to learn what can be incorporated into their new neighborhoods.
