This month, 97.9 The Hill’s Aaron Keck was joined by Dana Wadsworth, owner of Aesthetics by Dana in Sola Salons in Rams Plaza!
“I’ve been an esthetician for 22 years, and I’ve worked the entire time in Chapel Hill,” said Wadsworth. “I offer services such as facials, skincare, treatments, chemical peels, microderm abrasion, anything that someone would need to refine the skin … My mother was actually an aesthetician, she introduced me to the business and I said, ‘you know what? I think this is something I could get into.’ I love it!”
According to Wadsworth, business in the Blue Hill District has changed significantly over the years — and the location is well-suited to serve a wide range of uses, interests and errands.
“It’s busy, I have to say — for my entire career, which has spanned 22 years in that little block there, it’s just grown so much and changed so much,” said Wadsworth. “I often have clients come see me, but then they’re also like, ‘oh, I’m also gonna go do my grocery shopping after I see you.’ They’re incorporating so many little errands on their trip to see me as well. It’s a great place to walk and go grab some lunch in between clients, it’s just grown so much.”
