In the third episode of “Built The Right Way,” join 97.9 The Hill’s Aaron Keck for a conversation with David Fitch, of Fitch Lumber and Hardware, and Bailey Allred of the American Institute of Architects.

“[AIA is] a national organization made up of state chapters as well as local chapters,” said Allred. “Our state, North Carolina, has seven chapters. We are the Triangle and we’ve got just over a thousand members this year, which is a big milestone for us.”

Serving Wake, Durham, Orange, Lee, Chatham Franklin, Warren, Vance, Granville and Person Counties, AIA Triangle is the premier resource for working professional architects.

“Our mission is to spread the word on what architects can do, the value of an architect to the community, as well as being a resource for architects,” said Allred. “We’ve got continuing education requirements every single year to keep us fresh and abreast of all the complications and tricky things that go on with architecture.”
