High school sports resumed in Orange County in November, with athletes wearing masks at all times and spectators barred from entry. Volleyball, field hockey and cross country are the only sports active in Orange County, but basketball and cheerleading workouts have begun. Per the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, football is set to begin its first practices in February.
