The 2014 NCHSAA Women’s Championship Game between Hickory High School and the Chapel Hill Tigers tipped off at 5pm on Saturday, March 15th at the Dean E. Smith Center on UNC’s campus. Both squads entered the title game with undefeated records, but Chapel Hill trapped and pressured Hickory into twenty-four turnovers as the Tigers ran away late, 69-56. Catherine Romaine had a double-double and Raziyah Farrington dropped in twenty-two points in the convincing Chapel Hill victory.
