A recent top Trump administration manager has been named the chief executive of the 2020 Republican National Convention.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced on Monday that Marcia Lee Kelly will be president and CEO of next year’s convention in Charlotte. Kelly worked at three previous GOP conventions, serving as director of operations for the 2016 meetings in Cleveland.

Kelly most recently worked as the White House’s director of management and administration, with responsibilities for day-to-day management within the Executive Office of the President.

The RNC says the convention will attract 50,000 visitors including 15,000 members of the media. The city hosted the Democratic National Convention in 2012.
