Like it or not, you will lose an hour of sleep this weekend.

It is time to spring forward.

At what would normally be two o’clock Sunday morning. Clocks will shift from 1:59 to 3:00. Most electronic clocks on your phone or other devices will take care of this for you, but you will have to remember to change all of your other clocks around the house.

Safety officials say, while you’re changing all those clocks, it’s also a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke detectors and other safety monitors around the house.

While we will lose an hour of sleep over the weekend, we’ll be getting another hour of sunlight in the evening. So we’ve got that going for us.
