A portion of Rosemary Street will be closed to through traffic beginning on Friday.
The portion of the street between Church and Columbia streets will be closed from 11 o’clock Friday morning until 10 o’clock Sunday night, according to the town.
The closure is due to construction at the AC Hotel project installing a crane, which is requiring equipment to completely block Rosemary Street.
Officials say residents and employees of businesses at 140 West can access the parking deck via Rosemary from the east or Church, Short, Pritchard and Rosemary if traveling in from the west.
Rosemary Street has been undergoing major construction projects in recent weeks, which has led to noise complaints from residents. Some small business owners have also written emails to town leadership expressing concerns about loss of business amid the ongoing construction.
