Week nine of high school football action on WCHL features another Big 8 conference showdown as 6-1 Chapel Hill travels to Hillsborough to take on 7-0 Orange.
The Tigers lost a 6-0 decision to the Panthers in 2013 on a Hail Mary touchdown pass as time expired. Both squads will be looking to establish their ball control offenses early on in this physical contest where points figure to be a premium.
Jeff Hamlin and Chris Casey will have the call of the 7 p.m. Friday kickoff on 97.9 FM, WCHL. Live pregame coverage from Hillsborough will begin at 6:30 p.m.
We’ll also bring you live updates of the undefeated defending state champions in Southern Durham as they get challenged by the 6-1 Northwood Chargers in Pittsboro.
