CHAPEL HILL – Chapel Hill Police have named a suspect in the shooting that occurred Friday evening near the intersection of West Rosemary Street and Mitchell Lane.

Dennis Junious Clark, 23, is wanted for Attempted First Degree Murder. He’s described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5’7″ tall and weighing 150 pounds.

The shooting occurred at around 6:30 Friday evening. There was one victim, who was transported to UNC Hospitals with multiple gunshot wounds and is still being treated. Chapel Hill Police are not releasing the victim’s identity, but the victim is not a UNC student.
