Chapel Hill Police are seeking your help as they investigate a bank robbery at the PNC Bank at 101 E. Rosemary Street on Friday afternoon.
The robbery took place around 4 pm. The suspect is a 5’10” African-American male in his 30s with close-cropped or shaved hair, a beard and a thin build, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, glasses, brown work boots and a red baseball cap turned inside out; he may have left the scene in a dark grey Honda Accord with a Texas license plate.

The Chapel Hill Police Department is seeking assistance in the apprehension of a suspect involved in a robbery at the PNC Bank at 101 East Rosemary St. around 4 p.m. Friday.
The suspect is a 5-foot-10-inch black male in his 30s described as having a close-cropped or shaved hair and beard and a thin build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, glasses, a red baseball cap turned inside out and brown work boots.
Witnesses said he left the side exit of the bank on foot and may have entered a dark grey newer model Honda Accord with tinted windows and a Texas license plate. The vehicle was last seen headed north on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
