The Ackland Art Museum store is relocating to a new space in downtown Chapel Hill, according to a release from UNC.
Officials say the store will move to 109 East Franklin Street, next to FRANK Gallery.

The store will be moving from its current location at the corner of Franklin and Columbia, according to store manager Alice Southwick.
“While we will miss our corner space, we are energized to start the new year in a new downtown home that is still close to the Ackland Art Museum,” Southwick said in a statement. “We’re moving only steps away form our current space, and are confident that our customers will follow us there and love our new store.”
“With our store’s new location right next door to FRANK Gallery on Franklin Street, there will be an even firmer nexus of arts venues in downtown Chapel Hill,” said Ackland Art Museum interim director and chief curator Peter Nisbet. “An increase in the amount of wall display space at the Store opens up exciting possibilities.”
The last day the store will be located on January 10, and it will reopen at the new location on January 21.
