Women head up most of UNC’s women’s teams (Anson Dorrance in soccer the one big exception), but men still predominate as head coaches for women’s sports in general. That’s an unintended consequence of Title IX, Stroman says, but also an issue that Title IX can help address – if we’re willing to be thoughtful about it.
