Vice Chair of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education Riza Jenkins spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Monday, February 26. They discussed some recent student protest walk-outs over the war in Gaza, and the districts position on student protests of this nature. She also talked about the district budget, a possible upcoming bond referendum, the biggest needs for the school district at this time, and more.
