97.9 The Hill Sports Reporter Michael Koh joins News Director Brighton McConnell on the air Wednesday, August 19, after returning from a ceremony in Greensboro announcing a new non-conference series between UNC men’s basketball and N.C. State. The programs are teaming up for the Old Dominion Freight Tobacco Road Classic in the First Horizon Coliseum, resulting from the pair of ACC staples no longer having a guaranteed home-and-home matchup in conference play. Koh shares his takeaways from Wednesday’s event, as well as impressions of Michael Malone as he begins to wind down the offseason and enter his first as UNC’s head coach.
