In the wake of acclaimed journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones’ announcement that she’s declined a UNC position, faculty at the Hussman School of Journalism and Media shared a statement in support. Associate Professor Deb Aikat is one of those faculty members and he joined 97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnell to reflect on the university’s handling of Hannah-Jones’ potential employment.
