David Glenn of the North Carolina Sports Network joins 97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnell on the air Wednesday, July 10. Last week marked the first official day of Stanford, California and SMU joining the Atlantic Coast Conference and boosting the membership to 18 schools. But what does their addition mean for athletic competition? Glenn shares general strengths and weaknesses for each school, including how competitive each should be in the kingmaker sport of college football. Plus, he details why he thinks each could be at an initial disadvantage in their early years of competition — but why their inclusion could ultimately save the ACC and its broadcasting deal with ESPN.
