97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com news director Brighton McConnell joined Aaron Keck (filling in for Andrew Stuckey) on Monday, July 7, to discuss the aftermath of the record-breaking storm that hit our community on Sunday, July 6. Damage from the storm was widespread – including in Carrboro, where town officials had just reported massive flooding at their public works office, destroying five of the town’s seven solid waste trucks.
