Chair of the Orange County Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford speaks with 97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnell on Wednesday, August 9. Bedford discusses the county sending out its property tax bills in recent weeks and what people can expect — as well as resources to help with bill assistance and valuation appeals. Bedford also shared information for residents, businesses, and nonprofits who have projects that qualify for the county’s Climate Action Grants, which have a deadline coming up this month. The board chair closed by sharing information on Orange County Animal Services’ recent notice of dog capacity and the Uproar festival finishing up.
