Chapel Hill Mayor Pam Hemminger spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Thursday, May 4th. She discussed her participation at a conference of the Regional Transportation Alliance. She discussed a federal shift in focus from light rail to Bus Rapid Transit, and what that means for Chapel Hill going forward. They also discussed graduation weekend for UNC, and she responded to some of the controversial bills being advanced through the General Assembly. She also discussed other upcoming events in the community.
