Chair of the Chatham County Commissioners Karen Howard joins 97.9 The Hill News Director Brighton McConnell on Tuesday, October 3. After the board of commissioners meeting Monday night, she shares its discussions of the Moncure Small Area Plan and why elected officials chose to wait before voting one way or another on the framework for development. Howard also shares the early success of preparing the Farmland Preservation Pilot Plan, as well as several other upcoming events in the county — including an opportunity to meeting local municipal candidates this weekend.
