Chatham County Commissioner Karen Howard spoke with 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Tuesday, September 22, discussing county news and events. She recapped the recent board of commissioners meeting, which saw several updates, including presentations on agricultural preservation, early childhood education, and a resolution opposing a proposed natural gas pipeline. She also talked about the results of some litigation involving the county, and more.

The pipeline would run 28 miles through Chatham and Lee counties, and would pass through the private property of numerous residents.
