Two Tar Heels set a career high in goals scored as the third-ranked UNC women’s lacrosse team defeated Virginia Tech 15-6 on Wednesday night.

Molly Hendrick scored six goals and Ela Hazar added four of her own, both setting career highs as UNC knocked off the visiting Hokies.

Sammy Jo Tracy also set a career high against VT with three assists.

It was a dominating performance with UNC leading throughout as the Tar Heels won for the sixth consecutive game and improved to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Carolina improved to 22-0 all-time versus the Hokies. UNC will be back on Fetzer Field at noon on Sunday with a top-five matchup hosting No. 5 Notre Dame.
