All around the world, people continue to mourn the loss of UNC dental student Deah Barakat; his wife Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, who was set to attend UNC School of Dentistry in the fall; and her sister, NC State College of Design student Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha.

The loss is felt particularly hard in the Muslim community of humanitarian volunteers. All victims of Tuesday’s tragic shooting in Chapel Hill were very much involved in that community.
