The winners of the 2016 Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards were announced Friday night at PlayMakers Repertory Company. These awards were held to honor local people and businesses that go above and beyond in a number of categories.
The finalists were chosen from over 80 nominations by a selection committee of over 20 local business leaders and community activists. This committee narrowed down the nominees to three finalists in each category.
