Associate Curator for Contemporary Art and Special Projects at the Ackland Art Museum Lauren Turner and UNC-Chapel Hill 2024 MFA Graduates in Studio Art Mark Anthony Brown Jr. and Matthew Troyer joined 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Tuesday, April 16. They discussed Thursday's Opening Reception: Selected Works by the MFA Class of 2024. Brown and Troyer discussed their work and what it means to have it shown in museums like the Ackland. They also discussed the work of two other MFA graduates also showing at the reception, and more.
