CHAPEL HILL – It took until the 68th minute for the No. 4 UNC men’s soccer to get on the board, but once the Tar Heels did, there was no turning back.

Carolina defeated Coastal Carolina 4-0 to close out the Carolia Nike Classic 2-0; Coastal split the tournament 1-1 after a 1-0 win against No. 17 Wake Forest on Friday.

Junior forward Tyler Engel tallied his second game-winner in as many contests with the assists from freshman midfielder Colton Storm and freshman forward Marco Sunol Monday to close out the Carolina Nike Classic. Three Tar Heels would follow suit before the final horn while the Carolina defense didn’t allow the Chanticleers to test junior goalkeeper, Brendan Moore.

Junior midfielder Jordan McCrary, sophomore midfielder Raby George, and junior midfielder Glen Long all found the back of the net for their first goals of the season. The Tar Heels out shot the Chanticleers 10-4, including a 5-0 mark on goal.

With the win, Carolina improved to 2-0 on the season; Coastal fell to 1-1.
