CHAPEL HILL – One hundred and five North Carolina football players reported to campus Wednesday, a day before the Tar Heels officially open training camp with their first practice of the 2013 season.

Head Coach Larry Fedora led the team through a series of introductory meetings, which included presentations from all support services.

“We have 29 practices before we kick it off against South Carolina,” he said. ¬†“We have to make the most of these opportunities and I know our kids are excited about getting things started.”

Following the team meeting, players and staff adjourned for a team meal at Top of the Hill restaurant in downtown Chapel Hill.  Carolina will hold its first practice Thursday morning at 9:50 a.m.
