Chapel Hill Town Manager Roger Stancil Retiring

Chapel Hill town manager Roger Stancil announced on Wednesday his intentions to retire next fall. In an e-mail to the Town Council with the subject line “After 45 years, one more,” Stancil wrote that it is “never a good time for a manager to plan to retire,” but he said there were several reasons he felt this would be the best time to announce his intentions. Matt Sullivan Named New Chapel Hill Fire Chief

Matt Sullivan was named Chapel Hill’s new Fire Chief after serving as the interim chief since May of 2015.
