This Sunday, March 12, you’re invited to Greenbridge on Rosemary Street for a benefit concert by internationally acclaimed violinist (and Chapel Hill native) Jennifer Curtis.

Learn more about Jennifer Curtis here.

It’s a benefit to support Orange County Living Wage, the nonprofit that certifies and promotes businesses who pledge to pay all their employees a living wage. (The “living wage” varies from community to community, based on the cost of living. In Orange County, a living wage is $13.15 per hour, or $11.65 plus benefits.)

OCLW has certified 114 Living Wage Employers since its formation two years ago. To achieve certification, those 114 businesses have raised wages by a combined total of more than half a million dollars.

Jennifer Curtis talked about her life and work – and gave a live in-studio performance – on WCHL this week with Aaron Keck, joined by OCLW chair Susan Romaine.

Sunday’s show begins at 2:00 pm, in the Greenbridge Sky Lounge. Tickets are 25 dollars per person, available at the door or online at OrangeCountyLivingWage.org.
