Every Saturday, Carrboro’s finest and freshest produce and goods are available at the farmers’ market from 7:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The farmers’ market is known as a great place to view the offerings of local area farmers or to spend time and look around. The Carrboro Farmer’s Market is also currently open on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

If the Carrboro farmer’s market is too far, there are plenty of other ones in the area, all open on Saturdays. The Chapel Hill farmer’s market, Hillsborough farmer’s market, and the EnoRiver farmer’s market in Durham are open from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. In Efland, the farmers’ market is open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and has some specialty arts and crafts.

The farmers’ markets are a great way to find local produce in the area, but also have other events like live music at the Hillsborough farmers’ market.
