CHAPEL HILL – This Friday, Jones Angell, the Voice of the Tar Heels, will be at Carmichael Arena to provide the play-by-play for a truly extraordinary basketball game.

Angell will be calling the final basketball game of the EV Spectrum Skills Camp—a wee klong camp for about 20 young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, held by Extraordinary Ventures in Chapel Hill.

The game will be at Carmichael Arena on Friday morning, May 31, with an awards banquet afterwards at Extraordinary Ventures on South Elliott Road.

This Friday, the North Carolina Symphony will perform a free concert on the Village Green at Southern Village.

It’s the Symphony’s 14th annual performance at Southern Village. This year’s program will be “At The Movies,” featuring music from “Indiana Jones,” “Titanic,” and more. It’s all part of the Southern Village Summer Music Series, which runs through October with concerts every week.

Friday’s free performance of the North Carolina Symphony will begin at 7:30 p.m.
