Executive Director of NC WARN, Jim Warren spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Thursday, December 5. He discussed the recent lawsuit filed by the Town of Carrboro, NC WARN, and the Center for Biological Diversity against Duke Energy. He described the rationale for the lawsuit, criticizing the local energy provider for being involved in a deception scheme to obscure the impacts of climate change and their role in contributing. He also discussed how the advocacy group got to the point of filing the suit, and more.
